Description
Comedy continues in the drama series. Events begin with Dr. Thackerie, head of the Department of Medicine at Kickerbocker Hospital in New York in 1900. It fights cocaine addiction, high mortality and bureaucratic corruption. All to save lives in a pre-antibiotic and blood transfusion world. He does the impossible to help others, and save them from drowning.
